Trucks Filled With Relief Supplies For Hurricane Sandy Victims On The Way From Florida

A great friend of mine and former New York native Lisa Doyle Mitchell did something amazing recently: she spearheaded a drive to collect all types of dry goods for those ravaged by Hurricane/Superstorm Sandy. Those items, which consist of winter clothes, cleaning supplies, baby diapers, non-perishable foods, cases of water etc., are being packed up into big rigs and being prepared to make the long trek from Florida to the Tri-State area. The trucks are leaving tomorrow and should arrive in a couple of days.

So, if you know of anyone who is in need of these supplies or are someone who could benefit from these donations, please contact the following drop-off points for more information. Some have direct contacts, some just general numbers for the location itself.
