The Battle For Admirals Row

During World War II, the Brooklyn Navy Yard employed 70,000 people, 24 hours a day. Many of these Naval officers lived on site, including a select few high-ranking Admirals. Today, however, their former homes are far from shipshape. The NY City News Service’s Nicholas Martinez takes a look at the fight to save a group of houses nicknamed Admirals Row.
